chewing gum vs. denim

its been a long haul.... but before i get to
the results... let me give you the background:

so there i was in hot springs, ar with tg
and we pull in to this fine dining establishment
(applebee's -- tg's safe bet).

i open the door of tg's vehicle only to see
that i have fucking chewing gum draped like
a damned web across half the seat/door.
naturally, as i have the inclination to sit
on my leg/foot when riding... the fucking
gum that had been on the bottom of my shoe
was firmly smeared into my ass.

thats right... i had fucking chewing gum
smeared into the underside of my gay jeans.

now i didn't think it was all that bad...at first.
i have never had any type of gum smeared
into any type of fabric before... so i was
a wee bit worried... but not much.
fortunately, since i had plans of staying
over at tg's that night, i had a spare
pair of paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaants... so i changed
right then and there.

the whole ride home, tg was going on about
how he had some product that may help remove
the gum from my jeans... but to make that
story short... he failed to do any of the
promisin' that he was a talkin'.

anyways... so i bring my gummed jeans home
and lay them on my bench hoping that some
enlightenment would follow so that i may
eventually remove the fucking smeared gum
from my ass.
nothing happened.

tg checked online and said that i should
freeze the gum and remove it by scraping.

fearful of such an endeavor, the jeans lay
for several more days (weeks???) on the
bench... as i just didn't know wtf to do.

finally, last night... i got fed up. i was
going to confront this gum/jeans situation.

i put my jeans in the GD refridgerator as
prescribed by tg. hours later i checked on
it and tried to remove the gum....

NOTHING!!!!!

just to give you an idea, the gum on the ass
of my jeans was smeared in similarly to that
had you actually sat in wet glue.... it
was really ground into the grain of my denim.
evidently if it was some big chunk of gum
on my ass, the freeze method woulda worked great.

so the freeze thing didn't work.... and i sat
here, at my desk... cold, gummed ass jeans
on my lap... just seconds from tossing them
over to the fucking trash where they belong.

when i got more irritated.
i decided that if my jeans were going to
eventually go in the trash... i was gonna
try various 'home remedies' and see what
happened.

strangely... i got the idea to use friggin
RESOLVE on my jeans. in case you don't know,
RESOLVE is a carpet treatment that works
to remove stains and shit from your carpet.

i rush over to the kitchen counter and pull
out the RESOLVE and spray some of that shit
on the gum and scrubbed that fucker.

the gum balled up and rolled away like fucking magic.

i got excited.

but naturally since i feel i have a slight
curse, i thought to myself,

"sure... the gum is gone... now my fucking
jeans will stain or bleach due to the fucking
RESOLVE..."

quickly i decided to toss them bitches into
the washer and see what would happen.

that was the longest 14 minutes i can remember
waiting in a while.

the washer gets done and i yank out my jeans....

I still am a firm believer in the freezing methods. I also think that WD40 would do the job, however I am happy that you found something that did the trick.

I also think you should be more careful with your gum from now on. I mean come one! How does gum go from your mouth to your ass without Zela and his ass kissing ways somehow being involved?
